A Biker Thing

A Biker Thing (etc, etc).  The first thing that comes to mind me is driving (in a car) to New Jersey and visiting a friend and riding on the back of his firend's motorcycle and being insulted cause that guy said I wasn't a "biker".  He probably said this cause I had zero experience riding on the back of someone else's bike even though I had a little experience driving one myself. 

All of this zeros in on one question: "What exactly is 'a biker'?"

The day I decided I wanted to control a motorcycle myself and found a way I could do this, albiet badly :-D, I became a biker.  None of this is about skill.  This is about desire.  And just cause I can't design packaging for Proctor and Gamble doesn't mean my heart isn't there too.

And people are going to say that being a "biker" is some kind of lifestyle.  I disagree.  I know motorcycles are dangerous and still would ride one if given a chance.  This isn't enough for most people to admitted into "the club".  For me this is.
